7.6/10

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. The first room I stayed in felt like a dungeon, but after requesting a change, I got a much better room with a balcony and lovely views. The service was friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't have been better in the old part of Puerto de la Cruz. The dining was average, with some dishes arriving a bit cold. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

7.4/10

The hotel is situated in the center of Puerto de La Cruz, offering lovely views of the sea from spacious rooms with balconies. While the building's architecture dating back to the 80s may not be appealing, the accommodation is convenient for cyclists and provides a charming view of the surroundings. The on-site dining could use improvement in terms of variety and quality, but the service is top-notch and the location provides easy access to the beach and surrounding attractions.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were located in the older part of the building from the 80s but were spacious and featured sea-view balconies. The accommodation was suitable for storing my bicycle with ease.

Dining
5.0
The buffet-style dining experience lacked freshness and variety, with cold food being a recurring issue during my stay. The quality of some breakfast items, like scrambled eggs and bacon, fell short of expectations.
Facilities

8.2/10

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's fantastic location, right next to the church with the ringing clock bells every 15 minutes. The rooms were much bigger than expected and had the most splendid tiled bathroom. The service from the main reception staff was friendly and very traditional. The dining on the rooftop offered good options, though more veggie/vegan choices would be welcome. Overall, a very reasonably priced stay with great value for money.
